那是苏步青上初三时，他就读浙江省六十中来了一位刚从东京留学归来的教数学课的杨老师。第一堂课杨老师没有讲数学，而是讲故事。他说：“当今世界，弱肉强食，世界列强依仗船坚炮利，都想蚕食瓜分中国。中华亡国灭种的危险迫在眉睫，振兴科学，发展实业，救亡图存，在此一举。‘天下兴亡，匹夫有责’，在座的每一位同学都有责任。”他旁征博引，讲述了数学在现代科学技术发展中的巨大作用。这堂课的最后一句话是：“为了救亡图存，必须振兴科学。数学是科学的开路先锋，为了发展科学，必须学好数学。”苏步青一生不知听过多少堂课，但这一堂课使他终身难忘。

据《史记》「屈原贾生列传」记载，屈原是楚怀王时的大臣，「博闻强志，明於治乱，娴於辞令. 入则与王图议国事，以出号令; 出则接遇宾客，应对诸侯，王甚任之」. 因为他受到楚怀王的重用，引起上官大夫及令尹子兰的嫉妒，就在楚怀王及继位的顷襄王之前毁谤屈原. 楚王汏而逐渐疏远屈原，而且也不采纳他的谏言，最后甚至将屈原放逐. 屈原满怀愤怒，落拓江湖，在写下了绝笔作〈怀沙〉后，怀石投汨罗江自尽. 屈原死后数十年，楚国终因谗臣误国而为秦所灭. 但是屈原这位忠而见疑的悲剧英雄还活在楚国百姓的心中. 下面这个故事可以用来说明楚人爱戴屈原的心情。
雄黄酒：
据说屈原投江后，楚国的百姓哀痛异常，纷纷涌到汨罗江边去凭吊屈原. 渔夫们起船只，在江上来回打捞他的尸身. 有位渔夫还拿出事先准备的粽子，鸡蛋等食物，扑通的往江里面丢，说是让鱼甲吃了，就不会去咬屈大夫尸身(另一说是鱼就看不出来了，屈原就能吃到了)。一位老医师则拿了一坛雄黄酒倒进江里，说是要药晕了蛟龙，使它不能伤害屈大夫. 过不了多久，水面上浮起了一条昏晕的蛟龙，龙须上还沾著一片屈大夫的衣襟. 人们就把这恶龙拉上岸，抽了筋，然后把龙筋缠在孩子们的手腕，脖子上，又用雄黄酒抹七窍,使那些毒蛇害虫都不敢来伤害这些小孩子. 据说屈原投江的那天是五月五日. 从此以后，每年到了五月五日，人们都要划龙舟，吃粽子，喝雄黄酒来纪念屈原. 有些地区，则在端午节在门上插菖蒲和艾草，这固然是因为蒲艾有解毒的功用. 不过，关于这项艾习俗 * ，民间则有一种说法。

唐朝僖宗年间，黄巢领兵造反，所到之处，杀人百万，血流成河. 老百姓只要一听见黄巢来了，就急急忙忙的逃难. 这一年五月，黄巢的军队攻进河南，兵临邓州城下，黄巢骑马到城外勘察地形，只见一波波的老弱妇孺涌出城外，他看见一个妇人背著包袱，一手拉著一个年纪小的男孩，另一只手却抱著年纪较大的男孩. 黄巢感到很奇怪，就下马问道： 「大嫂，你急急忙忙的要到哪里去」那妇人回答： 「听说黄巢是个杀人不眨眼的大坏蛋，不日就要攻进邓州. 城里的男人都被徵调去守城，我们这些老老小小，不如早些逃命」. 黄巢又指著小孩问她： 「你为什麼手牵小的，却怀抱大的呢」那妇人就说： 「怀里抱的，是大伯家唯一的活口.手 里牵的才是我亲生的儿子. 万一情况危急时，我宁可丢掉自己的儿子，也得为大伯家留下一支根苗」. 黄巢听了，深受感动,就对那妇人说： 「大嫂，好快快回去，用菖蒲和艾草插在门口，这样黄巢的军队就不会伤害你了. 」妇人听了，将信将疑，不过她还是回到城里，把这个消息传了出去. 第二天正是五月端阳，黄巢的军队攻进城里，只见家家户户门上都挂弓菖蒲艾草. 为了遵守对那位妇人的承诺，黄巢只得无可奈何的领兵离去，全城因而得以幸免於难. 为了纪念这件事，此后每到端午节，大家就会在门上插菖蒲，艾草，这项习俗一直流传到今天.

徐特立断指血书的故事是一本最感人的爱国主义教科书。1906年，他在周南女校教书，有机会阅读了《民报》、《猛回头》、《新湖南潮》等革命刊物，思想上发生了变化，积极从事革命活动，并指引学生关心国家和民族的命运。1909年的夏天，他应约在修业学校作时事报告。他痛斥了 * 在中国无所不至的侵略，列举了一桩桩传教士毒害中国人民的惨案，他越讲越愤怒，慷慨激昂，声泪俱下。忽然，他跳下讲台，跑到厨房取出一把菜刀，当众砍下自己左手的一节手指。他用鲜血写下了：“驱逐鞑虏，恢复中华”八个大字，表示对 * 的愤恨和雪耻的决心。因为流血不止，他晕倒了。事后，省内外许多报纸都以显著位置报道了这一消息，徐特立的爱国壮举教育了各界人士，激发了许许多多教师和学生的爱国热情。
作为一位杰出的革命教育家，徐特立一生都保持着朴素节俭的优良品质，这是一本难得的修身教科书。早在湖南一师的时候，徐特立的生活节俭，就是全校闻名的。他的住处简简单单，没有大皮箱，没有大柜，没有什么值钱的家具，有的只是破旧的书籍。当时，长沙教育界有一个风气，中学教师被认为是有体面的人，出门都要坐轿子，显示绅士派头。可是徐特立却从来不坐轿子。他在长沙师范当校长，又在一师兼课，两个学校相距约10里地，他每次都是往返步行。遇上雨雪天，他就穿着“钉鞋”，打着雨伞，夹着讲义，从不缺课或迟到。一些教师看了很感动，慢慢地也都学着不坐轿子了。
1937年，徐特立领导着陕甘宁边区的教育工作。
* 刚进驻瓦窑堡的时候，当地只有一所学校。一天，徐特立去听课，他穿着破皮袄，腰系一根绳子，学校的教师还以为他是红军的马夫，没在意。第二天，徐特立又和董必武、冯雪峰一起去听课。冯雪峰向教师们介绍了徐特立，教师们大吃一惊，原来那穿着极为朴素的“马夫”，竟是边区 * 部长。有两首小诗描述他在延安时的俭朴生活：“延安诸老惟公特，生活简单如老卒;粗布征衣常补绽，自煮瓜果充粮食。”“少骑公马多徒步，不要随从来照护。携带两个冰馍馍，一天开会好几处。”
建国以后，徐特立住在北京，物质条件好了，他依旧保持节俭的作风。他常对亲属说，生活上的简朴，不仅可以省下钱来用于公共事业，更重要的是不脱离群众，锻炼人的革命意志，培养人的高贵品质。他的衣被鞋帽都是从延安时一直穿用到解放后，只要能补的，他就坚持不换新的。后来，他同意添置一套料子服和一双皮鞋，平时也不穿，只是因为要经常出席一些重要宴会和参加外事活动的需要。他在饮食上也十分简单，一直爱吃五谷杂粮和蔬菜。开始，他和中央宣传部的部分工作人员住在一起，房子很旧，也较挤，孙辈回家就睡在办公室的地板上。1952年，组织上要给他盖几间房子。他几次表示不同意，说等将来生产搞好了，人民生活富裕了再考虑。后来经过多次说服，并将修建费减去了1/2，他才勉强同意。他住在香山时，很少一个人坐小车。他跟警卫员算过一笔帐：汽车、汽油是用实物或黄金从国外进口的，从香山到城里，来回几趟就把一个中农的全年收入跑掉了。后来进城居住了，他还常常以步代车，保持了优良传统。
1968年11月28日，91岁的徐特立老先生因病去世。他是一位伟大的师表，他为中国教育事业奋斗的一生，永远为人们缅怀，被人们称颂。

据《史记》「屈原贾生列传」记载，屈原是楚怀王时的大臣，「博闻强志，明於治乱，娴於辞令. 入则与王图议国事，以出号令; 出则接遇宾客，应对诸侯，王甚任之」. 因为他受到楚怀王的重用，引起上官大夫及令尹子兰的嫉妒，就在楚怀王及继位的顷襄王之前毁谤屈原. 楚王汏而逐渐疏远屈原，而且也不采纳他的谏言，最后甚至将屈原放逐. 屈原满怀愤怒，落拓江湖，在写下了绝笔作〈怀沙〉后，怀石投汨罗江自尽. 屈原死后数十年，楚国终因谗臣误国而为秦所灭. 但是屈原这位忠而见疑的悲剧英雄还活在楚国百姓的心中. 下面这个故事可以用来说明楚人爱戴屈原的心情。
雄黄酒：
据说屈原投江后，楚国的百姓哀痛异常，纷纷涌到汨罗江边去凭吊屈原. 渔夫们起船只，在江上来回打捞他的尸身. 有位渔夫还拿出事先准备的粽子，鸡蛋等食物，扑通的往江里面丢，说是让 鱼甲吃了，就不会去咬屈大夫尸身(另一说是鱼就看不出来了，屈原就能吃到了)。一位老医师则拿了一坛雄黄酒倒进江里，说是要药晕了蛟龙，使它不能伤害屈大夫. 过不了多久，水面上浮起了一条昏晕的蛟龙，龙须上还沾著一片屈大夫的衣襟. 人们就把这恶龙拉上岸，抽了筋，然后把龙筋缠在孩子们的手腕，脖子上，又用雄黄酒抹七窍,使那些毒蛇害虫都不敢来伤害这些小孩子. 据说屈原投江的那天是五月五日. 从此以后，每年到了五月五日，人们都要划龙舟，吃粽子，喝雄黄酒来纪念屈原. 有些地区，则在端午节在门上插菖蒲和艾草，这固然是因为蒲艾有解毒的功用. 不过，关于这项艾习俗 * ，民间则有一种说法。

唐朝僖宗年间，黄巢领兵造反，所到之处，杀人百万，血流成河. 老百姓只要一听见黄巢来了，就急急忙忙的逃难. 这一年五月，黄巢的军队攻进河南，兵临邓州城下，黄巢骑马到城外勘察地形，只见一波波的老弱妇孺涌出城外，他看见一个妇人背著包袱，一手拉著一个年纪小的男孩，另一只手却抱著年纪较大的男孩. 黄巢感到很奇怪，就下马问道： 「大嫂，你急急忙忙的要到哪里去」那妇人回答： 「听说黄巢是个杀人不眨眼的大坏蛋，不日就要攻进邓州. 城里的男人都被徵调去守城，我们这些老老小小，不如早些逃命」. 黄巢又指著小孩问她： 「你为什麼手牵小的，却怀抱大的呢」那妇人就说： 「怀里抱的，是大伯家唯一的活口.手 里牵的才是我亲生的儿子. 万一情况危急时，我宁可丢掉自己的儿子，也得为大伯家留下一支根苗」. 黄巢听了，深受感动,就对那妇人说： 「大嫂，好快快回去，用菖蒲和艾草插在门口，这样黄巢的军队就不会伤害你了. 」妇人听了，将信将疑，不过她还是回到城里，把这个消息传了出去. 第二天正是五月端阳，黄巢的军队攻进城里，只见家家户户门上都挂弓菖蒲艾草. 为了遵守对那位妇人的承诺，黄巢只得无可奈何的领兵离去，全城因而得以幸免於难. 为了纪念这件事，此后每到端午节，大家就会在门上插菖蒲，艾草，这项习俗一直流传到今天.

戚继光，字元敬，号南塘，晚号孟诸，明嘉靖七年(1528年)生于山东微山县。世代为登州(今蓬莱市)将门之家，父戚景通为登州卫指挥佥事。他幼承庭训，通晓行军打仗。嘉靖四十年(1561年)，倭寇骚扰福建沿海，为害甚烈。嘉靖四十一年(1562年)秋，莆田遭受倭寇严重蹂躏，民不聊生，福建巡抚向明廷告急，戚继光奉命率精兵六千余人来闽平倭。戚家军在宁德横屿痛击倭巢获大捷后向南挺进，击破福清牛田等地倭寇据点。其时部分倭寇集结莆田林墩，依仗河沟纵横，构筑巢穴。九月十四日凌晨，戚家军以迅雷不及掩耳之势，进攻倭寇林墩大本营。官兵们游水进逼，奋勇杀敌。驻在宁海桥的张谏部与戚家军前后夹攻，与倭寇短兵相接展开巷战。戚家军连克营垒几十座，歼敌3000多名，解救百姓2000多人，倭寇残部仓皇败退到平海后遁逃出海。这次大规模歼敌战，就是历史上著名林墩抗倭大捷。
十一月，倭寇闻戚继光回浙，重聚残部进犯福建沿海，福宁、政和、兴化相继失守。他们攻陷兴化府城后大肆奸淫屠杀，无恶不作，府城内外尸横遍野，惨不忍睹。嘉靖四十二年(1563年)正月，倭寇退出府城，集结在平海卫和东峤许厝。福建巡抚谭纶紧急上书朝廷，请求再召戚继光回师援救。戚继光率军抵闽后，会集俞大猷、刘显三大营合围夹击许厝倭巢并乘胜追击，歼敌主力，取得平海卫大捷。随后，戚继光挥师南下救援仙游。戚家军配合仙游城官兵围攻倭寇，一连交锋18阵，歼敌1000多人。接着又在大蜚山下全歼500残寇，夺取全胜。仙游城外西北那一带战场，后人称为“五百洗”、“十八战”。
为缅怀戚继光恩德，倭患扫平后各地民众纷纷立祠纪念。三一教主林龙江捐地30亩在林墩建戚公生祠奉祀;此外，还在江口建惠德祠，涵江建功德祠，忠门莆禧、江口东岳观等地亦竖立戚继光石雕像。
戚继光纪念馆位于黄石镇林墩南塘湖畔，原名戚公祠，1995年在戚公祠原址上兴建纪念馆，1997年被批准为莆田县文物保护单位，莆田市首批爱国主义教育基地之一，现定为福建省爱国主义教育基地。纪念馆大厅伫立着高达2.1米的戚将军塑像，威武雄壮，令人肃然起敬;厅堂两侧廊壁专栏刊载戚继光两度入莆平倭英雄史迹。这里每年接待不少中小学师生和干部群众前来参观瞻仰，重温林墩抗倭大捷历史，弘扬戚继光英勇抗倭，爱国惠民崇高精神。

辛弃疾(1140-1207)，南宋词人。字幼安，号稼轩，历城(今山东济南)人。出生时，山东已为金兵所占。二十一岁参加抗金义军，不久归南宋。历任湖北、江西、湖南、福建、浙东安抚使等职。与苏轼并称“苏辛”。刘辰翁《辛稼轩词序》说：“词至东坡，倾荡磊落，如诗，如文，如天地奇观。”
任职期间，采取积极措施，招集流亡，训练军队，奖励耕战，打击贪污豪强，注意安定民生。一生坚决主张抗金。在《美芹十论》、《九议》等奏疏中，具体分析当时的政治军事形势，对夸大金兵力量、鼓吹妥协投降的谬论，作了有力的驳斥;要求加强作战准备，鼓励士气，以恢复中原。他所提出的抗金建议，均未被采纳，并遭到主和派的打击，曾长期落职闲居江西上饶、铅山一带。
晚年一度起用，不久病卒。其词抒写力图恢复国家统一的爱国热情，倾诉壮志难酬的悲愤，对南宋上层统治集团的屈辱投降进行揭露和批判;也有不少吟咏祖国河山的作品。艺术风格多样，而以豪放为主。热情洋溢，慷慨悲壮，笔力雄厚，与苏轼并称为“苏辛”。辛词继承了苏轼豪放词风和南宋初期爱国词人的战斗传统，进一步开拓了词的境界，扩大了词的题材，几乎达到无事无意不可入词的地步，又创造性地融汇了诗歌、散文、辞赋等各种文学形式的优点，丰富了词的表现手法，形成了辛词的独特风格。辛词以豪放为主，但又不拘一格，沈郁、明快、激励、妩媚，兼而有之。他善于运用比兴手法和奇特想象，对自然界的山、水、风、月、草、木都赋予情感和性格，并有所寄托。他还善于吸收民间口语入词，尤其善于用典、用事和引用前人诗句、文句，往往稍加改造而别出新意。但也有些作品因用典、议论过多而显得晦涩、呆滞。《四库全书总目提要》说：“其词慷慨纵横，有不可一世之概，于倚声家为变调，而异军突起，能于剪红刻翠之外，屹然别立一宗。”吴衡照《莲子居词话》说：辛稼轩别开天地，横绝古今，论、孟、诗小序、左氏春秋、南华、离骚、史、汉、世说、选学、李、杜诗，拉杂运用，弥见其笔力之峭。”
《破阵子?为陈同甫赋壮词以寄之》、《永遇乐?京口北固亭怀古》、《水龙吟?登建康赏心亭》、《菩萨蛮?书江西造口壁》等均有名。但部分作品也流露出抱负不能实现而产生的消极情绪。有《稼轩长短句》。今人辑有《辛稼轩诗文钞存》。
辛弃疾是“一世之豪。以气节自负，以功业自许”(范开《稼轩词序》)。和陆游一样，是南渡后坚决主张北伐恢复的代表人物。他还能用以民为本的思想看待北伐事业，他说：“恢复之事，为祖宗，为社稷，为生民而已，此亦明主所与天下智勇之士所共也，顾岂吾君吾相之私哉!”(《九议》)他还能用战略家的眼光，根据敌我双方的实际情况，提出抗敌救国的三原则：“一日无欲速，二日宜审先后，三日能任败。”(《九议》)

成为中文系学生党支部副书记这些日子以来，在我们全体委员的共同努力下，我们中文系学生党支部共完成了一下几件，为同学服务的事情：

在这些日子的工作中，我发现了自己还存在以下几点不足：
1、组织能力还欠缺。某些大会由于准备的不够充分，有些仓促。在组织民主评议会时，由于准备的视频资料无法正常播放，导致会议开始时间比预期较晚。耽误了与会人员的时间，我感到万分抱歉。
2、中文系学生党支部的内部活动较匮乏。除了学校统一组织的活动外，我们系内部没有组织属于自己的活动。有时候使得委员们缺少存在感，委员之间的交流不够，使得大家除了查材料的时候会聚在一起外，没有一起参加过其他活动。这是我这个副书记的责任，是我的工作没有做到位，忽略了委员间的交流。
3、没有加强委员的材料培训，导致新委员对材料不熟悉。
针对以上存在的问题，我会在以后的工作中做到以下几点：
1、加强自我能力的提高。在今后准备工作、会议的时候更加充足的准备好。尽量减少失误。避免因工作失误，耽误大家时间。
2、加强委员间的交流。可以组织我们系的内部文化活动，比如：大家一起商量怎样加强中文系内部的文化团结、组织委员一起外出游玩等。
3、加强新委员的材料培训。组织考试，以此来督促大家对材料的学习。
党支部是一个进步的团体，在这个先进集体的带领下，我会在接下来的学习、工作中努力改进自己存在的缺点和不足，不断提高自己的能力，争取做到！

1. 组织党员及入党积极分子认真学习新党章，学习科学发展观、构建社会主义和谐社会等重大战略思想，支部内各党员按时向党组织上交思想报告。
2. 坚持开展一月一次的组织生活，主要有民主生活会，交流读书心得等。
3. 组织党员学习理论后，各党员向党组织汇报学习心得体会。
4. 通过学习党的理论知识，在学习、工作、生活中理论联系实际，解决实际问题。

三、党员发展转正工作
按照《工商管理学院学生党员发展流程细则》的日程安排及流程进行本学期的党员发展工作，严格按照要求进行各项活动。发展过程中始终坚持“成熟一个，发展一个”的原则;抓好08级学生党课教育工作，吸收优秀人才加入党的队伍，为党的发展建设做贡献。
1. 为了推优工作的有效进行，实行党员联系班级、党员联系寝室的制度。各班的党代表要对组织负责、对所联系的班级负责。工作中必须履行好工作职责，积极引导、考察所负责班级同学特别是入党积极分子的入党动机，深入了解所带班级的具体情况，将该班入党条件成熟的优秀同学介绍到党组织中来。
2. 及时督促预备党员(特别是毕业班预备党员)递交转正申请和思想汇报，并对其进行监督与帮助。
3. 纪律要求。严格按学生党支部党员管理条例进行，期末进行综合评价，不合格则要求整改。
四、支部特色活动
1. 组织党员进行一次外出学习。践行党的精神，谨记党的誓言，坚定理想与信念，让学习成为党员生活中的一种风气。目的地：岳麓书院。
2. 继续坚持献爱心，每个党员每月一元钱
3. 组织一次帮助我校关工委老师出简报，打扫办公室卫生的活动。

三、深入开展“创先争优及党员立功竞赛”活动。我们支部把思想建设，党风廉政建设和三个文明建设有机地结合起来，坚持不懈地开展了“领导树形象、党员作榜样、员工立志向”等健康的发展思路活动，使我们xx车间向“建一流班组、造一流队伍、创一流业绩、树一流形象”的工作目标迈出了一大步，同时，积极开展谈心活动，共找员工谈心20人次，做到了及时有效地消除员工思想情绪和不良行为，确保了我xx车间全年无一例违纪违法事件发生。
四、抓管理、严格组织生活制度。我们支部针对党员多和党员分布面大的实际、始终坚持了“三会一课”的组织生活制度，全年组织召开支委会12次，党员组织生活会10次，民主生活会1次，支部自授党课1次。按时向上级组织报送资料和报表。对党员实行了目标化管理，强化党内监督，在收缴党费方面，我们支部每个党员都做到了按时自觉地交纳党费，并确保了党费足额上缴。
五、存在的不足之处和对今后的工作打算。一年来，支部在工作中的确还存在一些不足之处。比如，今年以来，故障时间就没有得到很好的控制，特别是在七月份主电室的两起险肇事故中，说明了支部在监督管理上力度还不够大，在制度落实和精细管理上也存大一定差距，特别对员工群众的政治思想教育等工作还有待加强。
今后，我们支部将会采取多种多样的教育形式，丰富党员的组织生活，继续推进党员先锋工程活动，按照厂党总支的安排，从实际出发，围绕经济抓党建，抓好党建促发展的科学发展理念，全面刷新和开拓我们xx车间各项管理工作的新局面。

八、会议总结
本次大会，认真总结了上届临时党支部工作，明确了今后的工作任务。同时，按照党章规定，经过广大党员、群众公开推荐和党员直接选举，产生了新一届委员会，使实现这次大会提出的指导思想和工作任务有了组织保证。
