说明
本课时是9a unit 2的integrated skills。其重点是培养学生如何从阅读和听力中获取颜色对人情绪影响的信息的能力以及如何综合处理信息的能力。
尽管本课时是关于颜色治疗信息的介绍，但是有许多相同的句式。在学生进行听力训练之前，教师必须要做相关铺垫。学生听完之后不能仅仅核对答案，可以设计各种活动，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。

(一) 综述
这部分作为补充材料，从字典中截取了与colour相关的词汇，是原汁原味，鲜活的语言材料，同时也可以帮助学生掌握正确使用字典的方法。另外，通过练习可以训练学生在字典中正确找到信息的能力。重点学习colour，fade等词汇。
本设计中主要向教师介绍对材料的处理，并对本课的内容设计一些拓展活动。

pre-reading 要求学生每人带一本英汉双解字典到课堂上，利用书上的fade这个单词来介绍如何有效地使用字典。在学生查字典前先设几个问题，引导学生快速准确地找到问题的答案。然后把学生自己查到的fade与课本上提供的材料作一个简单的对比，找到课本提供的fade英文释义的相应中文解释。这个前奏为学生阅读材料作了铺垫。
while-reading 1. 通过reading 练习巩固学生对查字典的掌握情况。
2. 学生可能在阅读的过程中还会碰到生词，可以用学生自备的字典查出新单词的用法。
3. 讲解color作动词的用法，以及fade的用法。
4. 通过听力练习再次巩固这些重点词汇。
post-reading 通过查字典，让学生去了解颜色可能不再是单纯的标色彩，有时还蕴含了另一种情感意义表达，比如：green eye，in a blue mood，black sheep, green hand 等等。可以让学生去查找类似的常用词组，以拓展词汇量。

(一) 综述
本部分是语言运用部分，着重培养学生的语言运用能力。通过说写方面的训练，不仅能提高学生语言词汇方面的能力，而且能加强它们与用语言知识来表达思想感情的能力。本章在说部分侧重培养学生访问的谈话方式，学会用表示喜好和选择的对话句型。在写作部分侧重于以对话开头作文的结构和篇章布局的教学，同时在教学中speaking中学到的对话技巧应用于以对话开头的作文。
（二）目标

1. 帮助学生适应访谈的对话格式。
2. 帮助学生用本课中关于颜色的语言信息，加深学生对颜色在日常生活中作用的理解。
3.鼓励学生在此过程中动脑动口，说出自己对颜色的理解和想象。

准备一些白纸，和其他商品的无色图片，供学生选用。
1. 以 “does color design affect your buying? what kind of color design might attract you most?” 两个问题开头，把话题引人色彩搭配。
2. 把班级同学分成六组，每个小组选取课本中一件商品的图片，然后画出同一件商品的另一张草图，讨论配色方案，小组通力合作对图片进行两种可能的配色设计。i would prefer to use…, i’d like to use blue…

（一）综述
本章节介绍了颜色与人的个性、早期人类、人们生活的关系以及人对不同颜色的不同反应。该文深入浅出地介绍了颜色的不同含义，告诉学生正确使用颜色大有学问，借此引导学生关注生活细节，关注身边的科学。
本课主要有三个任务：
