  一、教学内容与分析

  fun story

  本课以趣味故事的形式集中复现本单元所涉及的有关生日聚会的语言知识,使学生能够将所学语言运用到实际生活中去,复习日期和生日聚会的表达方式,提高交际能力。故事内容:micky 要过生日了,他想找一个跟它同一天生日的伙伴,最后找到了大象,他们高兴地邀请小动物们一起搞了个生日聚会。

  二、课前准备

  1.准备本课的教学挂图(裁成小图)、幻灯片、录音磁带。

  2.准备日历和动物头饰。

  三、教学建议

  1.教师依次展示教学挂图,慢慢地把裁开的各幅小图依次贴在黑板上。教师要一边贴,一边提问,注意问题说得要清楚,可以多重复几遍。

  展示第1个挂图,提问:what is micky thinking about?

  展示第2个挂图,提问:micky is not happy.what are micky and mimi talking about?

  展示第3个挂图,提问:micky is sad.why?

  展示第4个挂图,提问:micky is happy.he is laughing.why?

  展示第5个挂图,提问:why does the elephant have flowers in his hands? what are they going to do?

  展示第6个挂图,提问:ha ha! they are having a birthday party! whose birthday is it?

  2.学生短暂思考后,教师播放录音:let's listen to the tape and find the answers.

  3.让学生自由回答上面的问题,根据学生回答问题的情况决定播放录音的次数,必要的地方教师可以用汉语适当解释。

  4.学生理解故事内容后,再放一遍录音让他们跟读。

  5.把学生分为5人一组,分角色练习会话,然后学生带上小动物的头饰到前面表演。也可以播放幻灯片,进行配音比赛。师生共同评价,奖励表演出色的小组。

  四、课堂评价

  1.本课的评价应该是对整个单元内容的学习总结,教师应该对整个单元学习过程中学生表现出的学习积极性、参与活动的互动性、学习方法的有效性、学习成果的达标情况等作一个综合评价。给表现优秀的学生和学习小组颁发小奖章等奖品,也可以发一些小的学习用品作为鼓励。教师要特别注意鼓励那些学习有困难而有进步的学生。对表现欠佳的学生教师应该进一步了解情况,制定出下一步教学中的具体措施,帮助他们树立信心,更快进步。

  2.除了课本的内容,教师应该安排一些听、说、读、写的测试内容。然后根据学生对本单元知识技能的掌握情况,有针对性地设计一些其他的游戏和比赛,以强化和补救某些需要进一步巩固的知识点。

  3.教师指导学生完成《活动手册》中相关内容,然后进行评价。

  (1)让学生先观察表格。表格的内容是生日的日期、所在星期、以及生日时想要的礼物。然后再让学生使用示范语言调查班内的同学。最后再根据调查内容填写表格。教师在这里应提醒学生,星期名称可以缩写。

  (2)让学生给自己的下一个生日设计一个晚会的内容,并写一个相关小文段。学生可使用word bank中的语言。

  五、复习课参考活动

  1.教师总结本单元对学生完成课堂教学活动的评价记录。如在答问、朗读、游戏、比赛、会话表演等活动中获得星星、小红旗、小贴纸等的数量。这些可分单元粘贴在学生的学习档案上。这样,学生可以对自己每个单元与上一个单元的课堂表现进行对比,督促自己不断进步。教师还要根据学习档案上的奖励数量,每单元评出一名“英语小博士”,评出结果后还要象征性地举行“学位”授予仪式。

  2.教师利用课前几分钟每次安排一组学生表演。学生可以围绕学习的重点自定表演内容,如英语诗歌朗诵和短剧表演等活动。表演时间由学生自定,但要提前通知教师。教师对学生的表演进行评定,教师的评定不是以分数的形式,而是以开展英语“争奖章”活动来进行的。根据学生实际情况设计多种奖章,如:口才奖章、默契奖章、创新奖章、好问奖章、小歌星奖章、勇敢奖章、表演奖章、好学奖章等,连获五个奖章的学生将得到“争奖章小标兵”的称号。同时教师还为学生的活动留下录音或照片,一并收入学习档案之中。

  3.通过创设过生日的情景,运用本单元所学语言知识,进行生日聚会活动。其中包括用英语写邀请卡、邀请朋友、挑选生日蛋糕、制作聚会时戴的帽子、接待朋友、许愿、吹蜡烛和齐唱生日歌的交际过程,对所学语言进行拓展。教师先请两名学生示范,然后学生分小组进行活动,分给每组食品(或图片)若干份,最后请几组学生进行汇报。

  4.用本单元所学的句子结构和单词编成chant,开展小组间chant卡拉ok比赛。

  5.根据过生日的情景自编对话,进行对话表演比赛。

  6.侦探

  目的:培养学生的听力与观察能力;激发学生学习的积极性与主动性;复习本单元的动词短语:light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake

  方法:教师请6个学生上前面来,其中5个人先从老师手中抽一张小卡片站在教室中间,音乐声一响,5个人便各自按小卡上的内容做动作。另外一名学生当侦探,不作动作,只是观察。当音乐声停后,学生动作也停止。下面的同学说出其中的一个动作,如:cut the cake,小侦探必须在限定时间内找出刚才做这一动作的同学。然后由被找出的同学来继续扮演小侦探。
