teaching aims:
1、ss can grasp five four-skilled words:curtain, mirror, closet, end table, trash bin, and one three-skilled word: air conditioner.
2、ss can use the following sentences: come and look at my___. in my room, i have a / an____.
3、ss can ask the question “ is this your ____?”
important points:
1、ss can grasp five four-skilled words and one three-killed word.
difficult points:
1、the right pronunciation and spelling of the six new words.
2、the different usage of “a” and “an”.
preparations:
cai, cards of the furniture, the cards of house , 学生的广告表,mirror, recorder,  tape
teaching steps:
step 1: warm –up and revision
a: guessing game   (before class)
 t acts as different animals and ss try to guess.
(◆◇◆in this section, t helps ss review the sentence “ is this____?” )
b: three little pigs------the first pig’s house
 t acts as a pig, says: i like pigs very much. today, i’ll tell you a story about pigs.
[cai] the first pig’s house
t: come and look at my room. what can you see in this room?
(◆◇◆in this section, t helps ss review the furniture they have learned before. )
step 2: presentation and practice
c: three little pigs------the second pig’s house
 t: come and look at the second pig’s cabin. what’s in it?
[cai] the second pig’s cabin
 (◆◇◆in this section, t guides out three new words: trash bin, mirror, closet)
t: what’s in n1 ? ss try to guess the furniture in the room by asking: is this a / an____?
a. trash bin 根据音标教学(one by one) 教师范写empty the trash bin (do the actions)
b. mirror: 根据音标教学, 教师范写this is a magic mirror. mirror, mirror, tell me, who’ s beautiful?(准备一个镜子) 学生随意问问题操练
c.closet: 学生读,教师范写 close the closet 操练 t: i say close the closet. you say open the closet.(做动作)
指导学生再描述,结合新词。
d: three little pigs------the third pig’s house
 t: come and look at the third pig’s house. what’s in it?
[cai] the third pig’s house
pig: i’m ill. can you help me?
t: what can you do?
s: i can …. i can ….
t: ok, just do it. i can clean the end table
a. end table: table, end table. 教师范写,电话铃响起where is the phone? is it on/in/under the end table?做找电话的动作
同时通过where is the mirror/lamp来巩固end table
b. air-conditioner教师范,pig打喷嚏 t: i’m so cold. i should turn on the air-conditioner.
air-conditioner根据音节来打拍子发音
t: oh, i feel better now.
c. curtain: don’t forget to close the window. close the curtains.教学单词,教师范写,并且in my room, i have….curtains.
