教学目标
1、 能够听、说、认读四个方位词：south, east, west, north
2、 能够听、说、读、写短语：turn left, turn right, go straight
3、 能够听、说、认读句型：how can i get to the museum? go straight for five minutes. then trun left.并能进行关键词的替换练习。
教学重点难点
重点： 掌握四会短语：turn left, turn right, go straight。
难点：straight的发音和拼写。
教学准备
准备b let’s learn部分的单词卡片，录音机和本可课时的录音带。
1、热身
兔子舞游戏
2、预习
（1）“滚雪球”游戏
教师将有关公共场所的单词卡片贴在黑板上，第一名学生说一句话，如：i can see a hospital，第二名学生在此基础上加上一句：i can see a hospital and a cinema。
（2）两人一组进行问答操练：where is the…? it’s …is it far from here? no, it isn’t.
（3）教师检查a部分要求四会掌握的单词的拼写。
3、新课呈现
let’s learn
（1）教师伸出两只手：this is my left hand and this is my right hand.请两名学生分别站在自己两侧介绍说：a is on the left. b is on the right.然后提问学生：where is a/b？引导学生回答：…is on the left/ right.
（2）自己给自己发口令，turn left , turn right, go straight ahead.
（3）游戏：西蒙说
（5）出示中国的地图，在上面标出东、西、南、北，介绍这几个单词。
（6）听口令，指方向。
（7）将a部分学习的几个单词卡片拿出来，听老师的口令排位置。
（8）教师放b部分let’s learn部分的录音，让学生认读单词并回答问题。
4、巩固和延伸

引导学生开展如课本所示的游戏。
